The cornerstones of my philosophy are the creation of community, the posing of challenges, and the fostering of empowerment.

​

My objective as an educator is to motivate and introduce students to the critical analysis of the history of theatre, play analysis, playwriting, and theory and criticism, and to provide the means to apply a practical application of their college education to all aspects of their lives. I have taught courses and workshops (in-person and on-line) at higher education institutions, high schools and youth camps. Courses and workshops I have taught include playwriting, acting, stage combat, performance studies, script analysis, introduction to theatre, history of theatre, history of musical theatre, devised theatre, and applied theatre.
